Out of Character: The Queen's Gift, a privateering vessel under the Captain Aodhán O’Llŷr and First Mate, Valeria Jimenez are looking for 3-4 additional Officers to sign on to the crew for the Rogues of Canguine season.
What this means is you need to devote 2-3 Character Points to the "Ship" Advantage during character creation. You can choose your "Rank" or position from any of the following below (Or others if you choose). Each 'point' you allocate will earn you 5 Guilder a month to reflect your status (Similar to the Rank/Commission earnings in the Player's Guide, so you're getting something else for it as well). We also need you to choose from one of the following Knacks to have at least 1 Dot either at Character Generation or to raise it a bit with XP in the first few years before Personal Agendas start: Pilot, Gunnery, or Carpenter. This will assist with Ship Combat during Personal Agendas. You also earn another 5 Guilder a month for each Dot in your chosen Knack.
We plan to play at all Personal Agendas each year (Rising Phoenix, Origins, and GenCon) when they are available, and anyone with an official position will adventure together! The ship is "Haunted" so there's an added level of fun!
If you're interested, post here In Character or send me a DM. Here are some options:
Ship's Position (Pick one or ask about one not listed)
Boatswain:
Ship’s Surgeon:
Pick one of the Knacks below and associated title (Can be independent of above, so you can be both a Ships Surgeon as an officer but also the Ship's Carpenter)
Ship’s Carpenter: Carpenter knack
These two are covered now:
Master Gunner: Gunnery knack
Pilot: Pilot knack
